This is a campaign started by a young Ghanaian citizen, whose heart is filled with the aim of
transforming societies.
Donla Idris Augustin (DonaiD) is a young Ghanaian who is dedicated to humanitarian activities. . His mission for starting such a life-changing campaign is to ensure that more girls catch
the train of education in mthe Northern Part of Ghana where education is
perceived to be meant for boys whiles girls stay at home to do house chores.
As a result, this brings about rampant cases of child-
marriages, teenage pregnancies, child labour, depression and a lot more. Girl
child education is a topic that deserves more attention and focus or else, the
future of young girls will be doom.
A one year stay in the Moagduri District, and the young
Ghanaian did a societal research and he found out that the above challenges
were the nightmares they faced, so this went a long way to touch his heart and
inspired his passion to transform lives.
Most girls from the Northern part drop out of school due to the inability to pay academic expenses and others drop out of school due to teenage pregnancies then finally get married.Some of these girls travel to other parts of Ghana to involve in hard labour in order to raise money to fund their education. Most of these girls are even the bread winners of their famillies.
